Identity verification is a process that confirms the user’s identity to ensure account security and comply with legal regulations (like KYC and AML). It helps prevent fraud, protect funds, and enable access to features within the INBESTGO app. The process involves providing official personal information (ID or valid passport).

To complete your verification on the INBESTGO app, go to the top-left menu and select «Identity Verification». You will have the option to choose either personal or business verification.

Personal Verification:

This account type is designed for individuals who want to manage and conduct transactions for personal use. It has lower transaction limits and requires simpler verification, usually needing just official personal documents (ID or valid passport) and proof of address.

  • Individual Purpose: It is intended for personal use without the need to include business details.
  • Lower Transaction Limits: Generally, personal accounts have lower limits for buying, selling, depositing, and withdrawing cryptocurrencies.
  • Simpler Verification: The verification requirements are usually less complex, requiring only official personal documents (ID or valid passport) and proof of address.
  • Private Use: The primary focus is for individuals who want to manage their cryptocurrencies for personal investment or simple payments.

When selecting personal user verification, you will need to complete two steps to start using your account.

  • Step 1: «Your Identity,» where you must upload official identification documents (ID or valid passport) along with a selfie.
  • Step 2: «Your Address,» where you must provide your residential information.
  • Once you submit the requested information, the platform will verify it to enable all account features.

 

  • Business Verification:

A business account is intended for companies or institutions that plan to manage funds at an organizational level. These accounts offer specific features for commercial operations and often include advanced options. Some key features include:

  • Commercial Purpose: It is designed for companies or institutions to manage digital assets, make payments to suppliers, accept cryptocurrencies from clients, or invest on behalf of the company.
  • Higher Transaction Limits: Business accounts offer higher limits for buying, selling, depositing, and withdrawing funds.

Additional Verification Requirements: The verification process is more rigorous and includes additional documentation, such as business registrations, company incorporation certificates, and information about the directors or legal representatives.

Yes, the INBESTGO app is free to download and use. However, there are fees associated with transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, or currency conversions, depending on the type of operation you perform on the platform.

In the main menu, under «My Benefits,» you will see your active benefits. Select the benefit you want to cancel, then select «Cancel Subscription.» After canceling, you will still enjoy the benefits until the period covered by your payment ends. Please note that deleting an account is irreversible. Once deleted, you will no longer be able to access your account or view any data or transaction history. Additionally, your account must have no funds.

In the INBESTGO app, you will find three wallets (Funds, Trade, and Card), each with different functionalities.

Funds Wallet
The Funds Wallet in INBESTGO stores only quetzals or dollars. It is where your funds arrive when you credit them from your bank account, and it is where they must be if you want to withdraw them to a bank account or send them to another INBESTGO.


The trade wallet is designed for cryptocurrency exchanges, sending and receiving crypto. To buy or sell cryptocurrencies, you must transfer funds to this wallet, which allows you to schedule transactions, review charts, and

  1. In the funds wallet, select Add Funds.
  2. Choose Bank Transfer.
  3. Indicate the currency and amount you wish to credit.
  4. (Optional) Apply any INBESTGO or INBESTGOLD benefits or coupon.
  5. Review the applicable fee and the amount to be received.
  6. You will see our bank account details to make the transfer from your preferred bank. Once you have the receipt, please attach it. Make sure it is as legible as possible.
  7. Done! Your transaction will be processed as soon as possible.*
  8. Once your transaction is approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

The crediting time can be up to 24 hours once the funds are confirmed in our bank account. Remember that your transaction is processed when the funds arrive in our account. In the case of ACH transfers, delays may occur. If any issues arise, you will be notified via email.

  1. In the funds wallet, select Withdraw Funds.
  2. You will have the option to choose a bank withdrawal (1-2 business days) or express withdrawal (up to Q2,000 per day).
  3. Indicate the currency (quetzals or dollars) and the amount you wish to withdraw. You can only withdraw to an account in the same currency you are withdrawing.
  4. (Optional) Apply any INBESTGO or INBESTGOLD benefits or coupon.

Done! Your transaction will be processed. Once your transaction is approved, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • Traditional withdrawal: 1 to 2 business days.

Express withdrawal: from 10 to 120 minutes, a maximum transaction of Q2,000 per day applies.

  • With this feature, you can pay or send funds to a friend or family member who also uses the INBESTGO app.

  1. From the funds wallet, select Send Funds.
  2. Enter the phone number of the INBESTGO user you want to send funds to.
  3. Choose the currency and specify the amount to send.
  4. (Optional) Add a description in the message field to detail the transaction.

Select Continue and done! You have sent funds to another INBESTGO user.

  1. Go to the funds wallet.
  2. Select Move Funds.
  3. Select Send to Trade Wallet.
  4. Choose the currency you want to exchange (quetzals or dollars).
  5. Indicate the amount.
  6. Then select Withdraw, and done! You have sent the funds to your trade wallet.

  • When you move funds from the funds wallet to the trade wallet, your fiat money converts to a stable cryptocurrency tied to the dollar, where the time may vary depending on market conditions.

  1. Go to the trade wallet.
  2. Select Move Funds.
  3. Choose Send to Funds Wallet.
  4. Indicate the amount of USDT you wish to exchange.
  5. Select the currency you want to convert the funds to (quetzals or dollars).
  6. Then select Withdraw, and done! You have sent funds to your funds wallet.

When you move funds from the Trade wallet to the Funds wallet, your cryptocurrencies convert to fiat money. The conversion time may vary depending on market conditions.

  1. Select the Trade wallet.
  2. Select the Add Crypto
  3. Choose the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit.
  4. Select the network on which you want to receive the selected cryptocurrency.*
  5. Copy the wallet address provided or scan the QR code.
  6. Send from your external wallet, indicating the copied address.
  7. Wait for the confirmation from the cryptocurrency network, which may vary depending on the type of currency.

Once confirmed, the funds will reflect in your account.

  • The gas fee is a small fee you pay when making transactions with cryptocurrencies. This payment is necessary for the network to process and confirm your transaction. The amount of the gas fee can change depending on how many people are using the network at that time and how complex the transaction you are making is. It’s like paying a shipping fee to ensure your transaction completes correctly.

If you added an incorrect withdrawal address and the funds have already been withdrawn from your INBESTGO account, unfortunately, we will not be able to help you. Likewise, if you copied the INBESTGO crypto address incorrectly and sent funds, those funds will not be recoverable.

1.    Identify the «TxID» (Transaction ID) or «Transaction Hash»:

       Each transaction on a blockchain has a unique identifier called «TxID» or «Hash.» It is a long code composed of letters and numbers that serves to identify the transaction.

       The TxID is provided by the wallet or exchange from which you made the transaction. You can also see it directly in the transaction history of your wallet.

2.    Select the appropriate explorer:

       To track a transaction, use a blockchain explorer compatible with the network you used to send the funds. Here are some examples:

3.    Enter the «TxID» or wallet address:

       Once in the explorer, you will see a search field on the main page. Enter the TxID of the transaction or the wallet address you want to track.

       If you enter a wallet address, you will be able to see all transactions associated with that address. If you enter the TxID, it will show you the specific transaction.

 

4.    View transaction details:

       After performing the search, the explorer will show you details such as:

      Transaction Status: Confirmed or pending.

      Amount: The amount of cryptocurrency sent or received.

      Sender and Recipient Address: The addresses involved in the transaction.

      Transaction Fee: How much you paid in network fees (gas for Ethereum, for example).

      Confirmed Blocks: The number of blocks that have confirmed the transaction.

      Confirm the transaction status:

1.    Confirmed Transactions: Transactions must go through a confirmation process. Depending on the network, a transaction may require multiple confirmations to be considered complete. In networks like Bitcoin, it can take minutes or longer to confirm, depending on network congestion. A status of «confirmed» or with more than 6 confirmations generally means that the transaction has been successfully completed.

2.    Pending Transactions: If the transaction is still in a «pending» state, it may be that the network is congested or that you paid a low gas fee. In this case, it may be helpful to wait longer or, in some cases, try to speed up the transaction.

3.    Failed Transactions: Sometimes, transactions can fail due to lack of gas or issues with the network. In this case, the cryptocurrency will not have moved, and the funds will remain in your wallet.

    How long will it take to receive my card?
    You will receive your card within 1 to 8 business days after completing the request.

    Do I need to activate my card upon receiving it?
    You will receive your card ready to use; you just need to load it with funds, and you’re all set! You can start enjoying a new financial experience. Note that for your first purchase, you must insert the chip directly into the POS to activate its contactless function.

Yes, you can withdraw money from ATMs. However, please note that some ATMs may charge a withdrawal fee.
